So last year when I went in I was in heaven. I spent like 2 hours there soaking it all in. I came across the 90% off isle... Sorry my heart just skipped a beat...
I found these beauties that retailed for $85 for the set. That's right I only paid $8.50. I love you Hobby Lobby.
They were a green color that I was not the happiest about but loved the shapes of them.... So they stayed in hiding until the other day...... It was so nice out that I pulled them out and knew what I wanted to do with them and where to put them.
I painted them with Rustoleum Heirloom White spray paint then brushed on Ralph Lauren Faux Technique Glaze in smoke then wiped it off. So here they are in all their glory.... Like em?
I think they turned out great. I like them up on the cabinet. Not sure about the round one though. I like the star but I am still wondering if I should paint it a different color, put it some where else. I am just not sure yet. Any ideas?

P.S. If you would like to see what they looked like before check out my Mar 21, 2009 post.
I think a coat of paint can make almost anything look better! :) Great job!
ReplyDeleteOh I love those! Come stop by my Favorite Things Friday party if you would like to join in!

ReplyDeletePaint is so great, really the 8th wonder of the world! Wish we had a Hobby Lobby here. Thanks for linking up!
ReplyDeleteThey are amazing! Love the distressed, aged look. I like them with the star, but maybe it could get a new coat of a softer color?
ReplyDeleteLove how they turned out, they are great! I love the size too, nice and big. Thanks for sharing!
ReplyDeleteThose are so pretty! And what a steal!
ReplyDeleteI really like your display on top of the cabinet. Often times it's difficult for me to put together objects to look that good in higher spaces. Very beautiful! I esp like how the red star sits in contrast to the white!
ReplyDeleteOOOH Pretty! :) Love them, and the star!
