YUMMY!!

Well, here we are in the month of May. So far the last couple weeks we have been having a weekly tin foil dinner in our "fire pit diner." It has been so much fun just walking to the back yard and starting the fire in the fire pit. But, I do have to say that I miss doing them in the canyon. At least it still feels like we are in the woods. We have to keep an endless supply of SMORES goodness in the pantry.

Jordan started tumbling class and is loving it. I do have to chase her every now and then to get her to the proper station to work on her technique. She is so cute. :o)

Colby has been diagnosed with asthma (?) so he is on meds for that. He loves being able to breath again. He was not bothered by it as much in Utah so we/the doctors never could determine if he really had it. The humidity here sure has taken its toll on him. But, all is looking up now. He starts t-ball next month and is excited for that.

Cameron is growing in leaps and bounds. He is in the 90 percentile for his height. He has lost his little chunks BUT, has lots of red hair. He is so sweet and loves to give hugs and kisses to everyone. He chases everyone down so he can kiss them goodnight. It is so funny.

Nate is well Nate. He is motivated buy $$. Wish I had enough so I could get him to do ALL the house work. HA HA.

We keep having reminders that we do not live in Utah anymore. We took the kids to dinner Friday night. The boys insisted on bringing their wallets just in case we ended up at a store. Well when we finished dinner we got in the car and Colby asked where his wallet was. So I searched the car and Jason went back into the restaurant to look. Colby had put his wallet in his hoodie pocket and it fell out in the restroom. To say the least Jason found the wallet but no $$. Colby cried so hard. He did not understand that there are dishonest people in the world. It just broke my heart listening to him.

So yes we miss Utah very much. But we are grateful for what we have and that we can keep in touch with all our friends and family from all over the US.

  1. Thanks for the update. Your kids are growing up and are soo cute. We miss you!! Unfortunately people are dishonest in Utah too. Someone stole my camera when we went to the zoo, it's sad when people aren't honest.

  2. So we had tinfoil dinners for FHE last Monday in honor of you! They were yummy and it was fun to be outside and enjoy the good weather we're having!
