Blogging Conferences! Always a good thing....

Reading my favorite blogs was one of my greatest parts of my day.  It slowed down quite a bit this past year.  I took the time today to sit down and try and catch up on some of those most wonderful blogs that I adore!

Back in April 2012 you might remember my recap post of the Blogging Conference I went to called SNAP!2012.  It was a huge part of my joy for the year 2012.  I met so many wonderful ladies that I had been blog stocking for a year or more.  LOL  I think we all do that.  :O)  I was reading one blog today that made me remember how much fun i had at the conference and why I went to it in the first place.  I so wanted to get a ticket for SNAP! 2013 but they sold out so quickly (keeping my fingers crossed I can buy one as it gets closer).






Anyways, Michelle Lunt is one of those people that just make you feel good.  She is the creative mind behind Faith, Trust, and Pixie Dust. And I had the pleasure of meeting her at SNAP!2012.  She was so sweet to talk to.  She recently wrote a post giving the "Tips for attending a Blogging Conference".  I loved every part of it.  So, I thought I would share it with you all. Having gone to a couple Blogging Conferences this past year has made me aware at the power we as Blogging community have.  And we are always there to help and support each other.  We are creative minds, inspirational people, instructors, and most importantly.... FRIENDS!  We have our first interaction with each other online then when we meet in person it is, well, like having magic friendships.

I encourage all of you, if given the opportunity to attend a Blogging Conference.  You will not be sorry.

4 weeks later....

Well, it has been a long time since I have posted.  Not from my own doing..  I have had MAJOR PROBLEMS with blogger.  I have been hounding them to fix my problem (which they still have not) for the last 3 weeks.  I finally saw a message sent TODAY that they are having problems with the error message for spam on blogs that use Explore.  So I had to switch to another user and here I am.  Wish they would have figured that out 3 weeks ago.  Anyways,  I know it is late in coming, but here are some fun photos from the Breathing Space Blogging Retreat I went to at the beginning of May.

Tulip Festival at SNAP!

While at the SNAP conference which was held at Thanksgiving Point in Lehi, Utah we had the opportunity to walk through the grounds and enjoy the 3 mile long Tulip Festival.  It was sooooo pretty.  They said there is like 250 thousand tulips there.  Just Beautiful.  I thought it would be nice if I took some pictures for you all to enjoy.  Like you being there with me but, only not.  So here are some of the pictures that I took.  Enjoy....

SNAP! Recap

It was a real last minute decision to attend SNAP this year.  I so wanted to go but the hubs was covering his shift and another shift for someone else (management-gotta love it) so time off was non-existent.  He called me late Friday night (Apr 13) and said can you still get a ticket for SNAP?  I don't think so why?  I have the time off and I think you should go and have fun....  So on twitter I was like white on rice.  Found my ticket (so sorry :O( you could not go Karen) on Monday and off to SNAP I was on Thursday.  Yeah me!  Boy did I learn A LOT!!!!!  Notes galore.  :O)  I even met some of my favorite bloggy personalities.
