And the journey continues......

Well, here we are in Whitehall Michigan at the Ramada Inn. We have been looking for somewhere to rent. Some nice possibilities. We are hoping for a 3 bedroom townhouse in a neighboring town. Have to wait until Friday for that one so keep your fingers crossed. But, we do have a PO Box so if anyone wants to send snail mail all is welcome.

PO Box 223
Fremont, MI 49412

Also my cell is still in use. I am trying to get over a cold and so are my little ones. Nate and Colby think we are on a lets annoy our parents vacation. 6 people in a van and hotel for 2 weeks does not a vacation make. Three words....FLY next time.

What day is it?

So since my last post we have all our belongings in the REALLY big moving truck, cleaned our house for the last time, loaded what we were taking with us in our trailer and got on the road. We stopped in Evanston, Wy and are now in North Platte, Ne. So the days are now running together. We all get in good spirits when we can get out of the car and walk around. Having an Ipod sure is making the trip more fun for me. :o) Jason and the kids have been watching/listening to movies while I have been "Rockin out." Boy, have the youth stake dances been flashing in my mind. I have been laughing all day. It is funny what music makes us remember.

Wednesday Haulies!

Well, the packers came and I was ready. They packed my house in ONE day-I was not ready. Packed half of my belonging in the REALLY big moving truck in front of my house- definitely not ready for it. House pretty much empty, no dishes, no food, no washer or dryer-yeah no laundry to do. At least we still have the TV in our room for one more night-catching up on NCIS from Tuesday night.

So I guess this means that I really am moving this week. Oh, my life is like something I have not known before/or do not want to remember from my past. So on to the new adventure.

Oh what a Monday!

So, I was getting ready for the day an hour BEFORE the movers were to be here. Well, to say the least they were punctual, very punctual. They said they would have us packed and moved my tomorrow. That was a definite NO on my part. We can not leave until Friday. So, to say the least they are coming back on Wednesday. Good thing we are not the ones paying for this move.

So my day went on with errands, finishing attaching to handles to my kitchen cabinets, laundry, packing the things we are taking with us in our van and little trailer, and last but not least...making homemade chicken soup. I have to empty out my freezer some how AND it was dang cold today. So now it is time to finish homework and have family home evening. I bought sugar cookies that came with frosting and sprinkles to make as our treat/dessert. YUMMO!

Here we go!

Well, I said I was going to start doing the "blog" thing and here I am now. Is everyone excited yet? I will admit I do not know what I am doing as of yet but, am sure to learn as I go.

It is Sunday morning and I am trying to accomplish what I can to help with our move this week. We have movers coming tomorrow morning to start packing us up. WOW is this really happening? This is our last Sunday to say good-bye to our friends/ward family. We will miss them all so much. We have one of the greatest wards ever! At least now we will be able to keep in touch a little easier. Well, here we go. The Sunday tour is about to begin.
