POISON

So Colby had a visitor come to his class and discuss poisons and not to get into things that can hurt them. They were given a sheet of stickers and the poison control phone number. Well I picked him up from school and he told me all about it. We got home and did homework and I started dinner. Some how I had lost Colby and started looking for him and found him in my bathroom with a BIG smile on his face and this is what I saw. Guess I am a very poisonous person!

As I looked on I noticed none of Jason's things had stickers on them. Nope just mine!

What a deal!

Okay, so Jason had the day off the other day and we decided to head into Muskegon (the nearest large city with decent restaurants, malls, and everything else.) I saw a store I have not been in since 2000. It is called HOBBY LOBBY and I have always loved it. I went in it with Jordan and Jason took Cameron in to Target ( the older boys were in school.) I had so much fun. I came across these sculptures that I LOVE and have wanted since like forever. They just have always been a little pricey. Well, did I come in to the deal of a century. They had them on sale. They usually run $35 and up but I only paid between $1.19- $3.50 for all SEVEN I had to pick up some card stock, thread, needles, and distressing ink also but I only sent - Get this $41.66. Is that not awesome? I know you are all jealous and would like to have some of the sculptures and my great price but sorry the store only goes as far west as Colorado. But, If you just happened to have responded to my Lucky 5 post you never now. You could just end up with one? :o)

Normality is not a function in our lives!

Well, what can I type today? I am still trying to get over my cold. I hate coughing!!! The kids have half day of school today and will be home in just over an hour. Yikes! Jason is back on nights. At least he sees All the kids everyday now. Before (in Utah) he only say the little ones unless they were napping before he left for work.

I thought I would be ambitious and do some scrapbooking yesterday. Took about an hour or so to find what I needed (pics, cardstock, adhesives, embellishments, etc.) So I sat down and got 5, that's right 5 pages done. I was on a roll. Problem was that I had to clean it all up so I could fix dinner. I miss my scrapbook room soooooooooooooooo bad!

So the night went on and I got the kids bathed and in bed. Sat down to watch a show I have been wanting to watch for like 6 months. There I sat and it happened. Something flew, you read right, flew over my head. I looked up and saw nothing so I turned around and it did it again. This time I caught a better glimpses of it. I SCREAMED like a girl!!! it was a BAT!!! I kept screaming hoping Jason would magically hear me while he was at work and come and get it OUT of the house. Nate came out and saw it and told me to stop screaming. I asked him to turn on a light near the kitchen. He held a towel over his head and swung away which did not help. The bat flew by his head and its wing touched his face. He screamed louder than I did. Started to cry and would not stop. The bat flew down to the basement (which we do not use, its more for storage not living, its yucky I think.) So Nate was so scared he would not stop crying so I let him sleep with me. Jason got home at 6:30 am and looked for that bat could not find it so he went to bed. So now the town Sheriff is in the basement with my broom and a really big flashlight and leather gloves checking every nook and cranny for that bat. He owns the house we are renting. So I guess you can really say he is our protector. What a nice guy.

So see nothing is very normal here in Michigan. Not that that's bad or anything!!! LOL

What day is it? Oh yeah TODAY!!!!

Well it had been quite a while since my last post. Guess my life is boring or I have too much to do. Probably both.

February came and went. Jason took me and kids to dinner and shopping for Valentines Day. I got a neckless matching bracelet, and NEW sunglasses. Its been like 8 years since I got new sunglasses. Jason has had like 105,000 pairs in the same amount of time. I got him a new suit and shoes. He looks soooooo good in them.

Okay, so on to a more recent happening.......This morning I got the kids in the van and off we were to get Colby to school. Nate leaves 1/2 hour earlier for some extra help. So here we are heading down the drive and I look back at the kids and say to myself but out loud..."I have such cute kids. What did I ever do to deserve them and how did they get so cute?" Then I hear it. The most wonderful sweetest voice ever say.... "It's because of our faces." LOL LOL That was Colby. I love him so. And I love all my kids. What a wonderful blessing they are to me. :o)
